## Introduction

This calculator estimates the most likely number of bingo cards in play according to the distribution of balls called and the number of winners. To use, just enter number of balls called, according to the letter, and the number of winners. Then click the type of game. The number of cards shown should be considered as a rough guess.

This calculator is not fully monkey-proofed. If you put in impossible or unreasonable input, don't expect to get a reasonable answer.

## Terms

• Single Bingo: Any one line. May use free square
• Double Bingo: Any two lines. May use free square
• Triple Bingo: Any three lines. May use free square
• Single Hardway: Any one line. May not use free square
• Double Hardway: Any two lines. May not use free square
• Triple Hardway: Any three lines. May not use free square
• Six Pack: Any two by three rectangle. May use free square
• Nine Pack: Any three by three square.
• Letter X: Both diagonals.
• Single Postage Stamp: Any 2x2 square in corner of card.
• Double Postage Stamps: Any two 2x2 squares in corner of card.
• Triple Postage Stamps: Any three 2x2 squares in corner of card.
• Quadruple Postage Stamps: Any four 2x2 squares in corner of card.
• Coverall: Cover entire card.
• Double Daub: Cover entire "double daub" card, which has two distinct numbers per square.
• Win Probability: Probability of any one card winning.
• Expected Cards: Expected number of cards in play.
